Happy Eid! Today is the final day (i think!) which means time for more gorging of meats on the streets, especially down at Mohamad Ali Road!

Ramazan Meats

A visit to any of the night food stalls set up for breaking the daily fast of Ramazan will give you views of foods you have never seen raw! Here is brain, liver and kidney. Yuck (for me a veg eater!)

Ramazan - Sweets!

Since I am veg, my favorite part of Ramazan are the sweets. We sampled all sorts.. but not this one as it sort of appears to have meat chunks in it!

This is seriously a big pot of meat! I think the bowl closest was raw.. but perhaps it was cooked and just really slimy! For meat lovers this is a great time of year.. for those of us veg eaters.. not so yummy!
