SCORPIONS


SCORPIONS একটি জার্মান হেভী মেটাল/হার্ড রক ব্যান্ড।তবে এ ধারার অন্যান্য ব্যান্ড হতে SCORPIONS কে যা আলাদা করে তা হল তাদের হার্ড রক গানের সাথে মেলোডীর সংমিশ্রন। ১৯৬৫ সালে Rudolf Schenker এর নেতৃত্বে যাত্রা শুরু করে SCORPIONS. ১৯৭২ সালে ব্যান্ডটি তাদের প্রথম এ্যালবাম Lonesome Crow প্রকাশ করে।যদিও ব্যান্ডটির প্রথম সফল এ্যালবাম Fly to the Rainbow তবে ১৯৭৯ তে প্রকাশিত এ্যালবাম Lovedrive কে ব্যান্ডটির প্রথম বাণিজ্যিক সাফল্য ধরা হয়।

SCORPIONS এর কিছু কিছু গানের কথা আলাদা করে না বললেই না। এই গানগুলি আমার খুবই প্রিয়। এই তালিকায় আছে always somewhere,holiday, hurricane 2000, hurricane 2001,loving you sunday morning,moment of glory, no one like you, passion rules the game, rock you like a hurricane, send me an angel, still loving you, this is my song, to be with you in heaven, under the same sun, when love kills love, wind of change, you and i, white dove, here in my heart, lust or love, love will keep us alive, love is war, your last song, the game of love, 321, we were born to fly. এই গানগুলোর প্রত্যেকটারই কথা আমার দারুন প্রিয়। আর এদের মধ্যে your last song গানটা আমি যতবার শুনি ততবার নতুন লাগে,কথাগুলো বড্ড আপন লাগে। the game of love গানটা আমাকে জীবনের অনেক পরিস্থিতিতেই ঘুরে দাড়াবার সাহস দিয়েছে এবং ভবিষ্যতেও দিবে আশা রাখি। আমার কাছে SCORPIONS এর সব গানই অসাধারন লাগে, এখন দেখা যাক আপনাদের কেমন লাগে।
SCORPIONS, sting in the tail কে তাদের সর্বশেষ এ্যালবাম বলে ঘোষণা করেছে। এরপরে তারা আর কোন এ্যালবাম প্রকাশ করবে না। এবং ৭ই মে তে শুরু হতে যাওয়া get your sting and blackout tour ই হবে তাদের সর্বশেষ tour. এই অসাধারণ ব্যান্ডটাকে নিঃসন্দেহে প্রচন্ড রকম মিস্‌ করব :( । তবে তাদের কালজয়ী সৃষ্টিগুলো সঙ্গী হয়ে থাকবে চিরকাল। SCORPIONS এর জন্য থাকল শুভকামনা ও শ্রদ্ধা।
